#powerball Watertown Woman Claims $100,000 Powerball Prize

Debra Amy of Watertown, SD on Oct. 17, 2016 claimed her $100,000 Powerball prize from the Oct. 8, 2016 drawing at the Sioux Falls Lottery office.

Amy matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball to win the game's third prize but because she purchased the Power Play option for an additional dollar and the Power Play was 2, her prize was doubled to $100,000.

Her winning ticket was purchased at Prairie Stop on 9th Avenue SW in Watertown. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for the sale.

Amy says she plans to use her winnings to finish remodeling work at her home and to help family members.
