#powerball Muncie Woman Claims $50,000 Powerball Prize

Kim Reel of Muncie, IN won $50,000 on the December 17th Powerball draw.

For Kim, the $50,000 was a surprise until she arrived in Indianapolis. An employee at Hoosier Lottery headquarters was the first to inform her she won $50,000. Although Kim knew she had a winner, she wanted to wait to find out how much she won.

"That's the thrill," Kim said. "It's like having a baby. I didn't want to know until I was here."
