#powerball Summerset Man Claims $50,000 Powerball Prize

Johnny Spelbring of Summerset, South Dakota on Sept. 28, 2016 claimed his $50,000 Powerball prize from the Sept. 24, 2016 drawing at the Rapid City Lottery office. Spelbring matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball to pick up the game’s third prize. The odds of winning $50,000 playing Powerball are 1:913,129.

The winning ticket was purchased at BJ’s on Black Hawk Road in Black Hawk; the store will receive a $1,000 bonus for the sale.
