#powerball Hyannis woman claims $1 million Powerball prize

Judith Hudson of Hyannis has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize won in the multi-state game's drawing held Saturday, July 9, 2016.

Hudson matched the first five winning numbers on her Quic Pic ticket to win her $1,000,000 prize (less taxes), which she claimed at the Massachusetts State Lottery's Braintree headquarters on Tuesday, July 12. She plans on using her winnings to pay off her mortgage and her remaining car payments before investing the rest.


Hudson purchased her lucky ticket at AM/PM Convenience, 489 Bearses Way in Hyannis. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
