A northwest Iowa man was just one number away from winning a big Powerball jackpot last Saturday and ended up winning a $50,000 prize.

Leroy Rohlfs of Boyden matched four white balls and the Powerball in the Feb. 20 drawing to win a $50,000 prize.

Rohlfs purchased his winning ticket at Pit Row, 1010 Southern St. in Boyden. He claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's regional office in Storm Lake.
