#powerball $1 million Powerball prize from January 6 drawing is claimed

The Five Only Nominee Trust of Quincy has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize after matching the first five winning numbers in the multi-state game's drawing held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, when the jackpot was $528.5 million.

The trust, represented by David Spillane, claimed its $1 million prize (before taxes) at the Massachusetts State Lottery's Braintree headquarters on Tuesday, January 12.

The winning ticket was purchased at Express Mart, 367 Court St. in Plymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
