A group of longtime friends has a reason to celebrate after winning a $150,000 in Saturday’s Powerball drawing.

Members of the group claimed their prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh Friday morning. After required state and federal tax withholdings they’ll split $103,875.

The group purchased the winning $3 Power Play ticket at the Food lion on Monroe Road in Charlotte. To win $150,000 they matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball. The prize tripled from $50,000 to $150,000 when the 3x multiplier was drawn for Power Play tickets.
