Mary Watson of Rapid City, South Dakota on May 26, 2015 claimed her $30,000 Powerball prize from the May 20, 2015 drawing. Watson matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball to win the game's $10,000 third prize but because she purchased the Power Play option for an additional $1 and the Power Play was 3, her prize was tripled to $30,000.
