The Florida Lottery announces that Alice Dawson, 60, of Frisco City, Alabama, claimed the $80 million jackpot prize for the POWERBALL drawing held on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Dawson chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $53,440,213.76

"This is a blessing in our lives and proves that anything is possible with faith in God," said Dawson. "We plan on using our winnings to help our friends, family and our church."

The jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from State Line Gift Shop, located at 11208 U.S. Highway 97 in McDavid. The retailer will receive $40,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
