#powerball CEDAR RAPIDS MAN WINS $10,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

A Cedar Rapids, Iowa man was just one number away from winning a big Powerball jackpot Wednesday and ended up winning a $10,000 prize.

Bryan Knox matched four white balls and the Powerball in the April 1 drawing to win a $10,000 prize.

Knox purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 1843 Johnson Ave. NW in Cedar Rapids. He claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids.

The winning numbers in that night's $50 million jackpot drawing were: 2-30-33-39-44 and Powerball 1. The Power Play number was 3. Saturday's jackpot is an estimated $60 million.
