#powerball Woburn man claims $1 million Powerball prize

Philip Boudreau of Woburn is Massachusetts's newest $1 million Powerball prize winner after matching the first five winning numbers in the multi-state game's drawing held Saturday, March 7, 2015.

Boudreau claimed his $1 million prize (less taxes) at the Massachusetts State Lottery's Braintree headquarters on Friday, April 17. He plans to use his winnings to pay some bills and invest.

Boudreau's winning Quic Pic ticket was purchased at Jack's Variety, 675 Main St. in Woburn. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
