#powerball $10,000 PowerBall® Ticket Claimed by Group of 25

A $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket has been split among a group of 25 co-workers for Saturday night's drawing. The self-named "White Cap Group" is made up of mostly females who say they plan to do some shopping for new shoes! They've been playing together for the past three years. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. If they had purchased the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 2, Saturday's Power Play® number, to equal $20,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Cambridge Petroleum, 7000 Post Rd., North Kingstown.
