A southwest Iowa woman was just one number away from winning a large Powerball jackpot last month and ended up winning a $10,000 prize.

Aurea Perez Morales of Oakland matched four white balls and the Powerball in the July 12 drawing to win a $10,000 prize.

Morales purchased her winning ticket at Casey's, 205 Brown St. in Oakland. She claimed her ticket Monday at the lottery's headquarters in Des Moines.
