Luis Arcangel from Bronx, NY is the winner of a $1 million prize in the multi-state Powerball game's drawing held Saturday, March 22, 2014.

Arcangel claimed his $1 million (less taxes) at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Braintree, MA on Monday, March 24. He intends to use his winnings to provide assistance to his family in the Dominican Republic.

Arcangel played his winning numbers at the Rainbow Food Shop located at 3201 Washington St. in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston, MA. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
