Twelve employees from Greenleaf Wholesale floral supply in Albuquerque, New Mexico were bloomin' lucky playing Powerball.
When the jackpot blossomed into $100 million in late April, the pool came together and each employee planted $5 in seed money to buy tickets. In the May 18 drawing, the pool won $10,000 by matching the red Powerball of 11 and the winning white ball numbers of 10, 13, 22, and 52. The co-workers missed landing a share of the historic $590.5 million jackpot when the winning white ball was 14 rather than their ticket's 26.
