#powerball Albuquerque Co-Workers Share $10,000 Powerball® Prize

Seven employees from the quality department at UTC Aerospace Systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico shared a $10,000 prize from the May 18 Powerball drawing.

Michael Tang, Jesus Gonzalez, Patricia Gutierrez, Dean Dominguez, Charlotte Garcia, Paul Durham and Diana Skiles play together when the Powerball jackpot reaches $100 million. Each member of the pool chipped in $10 to put multiple wagers on a quick-pick ticket purchased at the Giant Station located at 6100 San Mateo Blvd. NE in Albuquerque. Earlier in the month, the Giant Station sold a $10,000 winning Powerball ticket to three players who work together at an Albuquerque restaurant.

After missing a share of the record $590.5 million jackpot by only one number, the UTC Aerospace Systems employees said other co-workers were inspired to ask if they could join the pool for the next Powerball jackpot run up.
