#powerball $2,000,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Ticket Claimed Today

The winning $2,000,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® ticket sold in Rhode Island from the February 6 drawing has finally been claimed by Lonnie Jackson, Jr. of Woonsocket. The clerk at AJ's Mini Market at 939 Social Street in Woonsocket, where he purchased the ticket, told him he won. He didn't believe him at first, and once he located the ticket, he still couldn't believe it. Lonnie plans to buy a house, a truck with a plow for snow removal, take care of his family and pay off all outstanding bills. He proceeded to thank his lawyers, AJ's Mini Market and the Rhode Island Lottery.

The winning PowerBall® ticket matched five numbers but not the PowerBall® number, for the standard payout of $1,000,000. However, he always adds the Power Play® feature for an extra dollar, which increased his prize to $2,000,000. This is the second $2,000,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® ticket sold in Rhode Island this year.
