#megamillions Mega-Exciting Jackpot Grows To Estimated $207 Million

The jackpot is growing even larger and Mega Millions players from coast to coast are the winners!  A total of 1,371,730 tickets won prizes in the August 18 drawing.  Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the excitement continues to grow for the Friday, August 21, 2009, drawing, which will have an estimated jackpot of $207 million.      Tuesday's winning numbers were: 4-5-26-37-56 and the Mega Ball number was 25.      You can't come closer to winning the jackpot than the 14 tickets that matched the first five numbers and missed only the Mega Ball number.  Those tickets were purchased in California (3), Georgia (1), Illinois (2), Massachusetts (1), Maryland (1), New Jersey (2), New York (1), Texas (1) and Virginia (2).        This jackpot has been growing since July 7, when Mega Millions had its most recent jackpot winner. The jackpot has now rolled 12 times without a winner. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately one in 176 million.
