#megamillions Mega Millions jackpot grows to estimated $356 million

Nearly 2.9 million tickets won prizes in the March 23 Mega Millions drawing. None of those tickets matched all six numbers, so the jackpot for the March 27, 2012, drawing grows to an estimated $356 million.

The winning numbers in the March 23 drawing were: 6-17-19-20-21 and the Mega Ball number was 20.

Two tickets each won $1 million in Friday's drawing. Those tickets were bought in Arkansas and Wisconsin. An additional 37 tickets won $250,000. Those tickets were bought in California (7), Georgia (1), Idaho (1), Illinois (5), Louisiana (2), Massachusetts (1), Maryland (2), Missouri (1), New Hampshire (2), New Jersey (3), New York (6), Oklahoma (1), Pennsylvania (1), South Dakota (1), Texas (1), Washington (1) and Wisconsin (1).

This jackpot has been growing since January 24, when Mega Millions had its most recent jackpot winner. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately one in 176 million. The odds of winning any of the Mega Millions prizes are approximately 1 in 40.
