#megamillions Jackpot winning ticket sold in Texas

An estimated $33 million Mega Millions jackpot was won in Texas on June 27; the winning ticket has a cash value estimated at $19.2 million. The winning numbers for the drawing were 15, 29, 31, 46 and 64, with a Mega Ball of 10.

It marks the 11th time the Texas Lottery has sold a Mega Millions jackpot-winning ticket since it first joined the game in December 2003, and the first jackpot win in Texas since the game was relaunched last October. Texas has also been home to three multi-million Match 5 winners – the most of any state – since the enhanced Megaplier went into effect in October, with tickets worth $5 million, $4 million and $2 million sold in the Lone Star State. Eight additional $1 million Match 5 prizes have been won in Texas since the game was relaunched.
