#megamillions Jackpot soars past $300 million for November 4

For only the 10th time in Mega Millions' 12-year history, the jackpot will surpass $300 million for the next drawing on November 4. An estimated $321 million ($194 million cash option) will be up for grabs after no ticket matched all six numbers (11, 29, 36, 58 and 67, plus the Mega Ball of 15) on Halloween night, October 31. The jackpot has been growing since it was last won in California at $180 million on August 22.

There were five Match 5 winning tickets sold in Friday night's drawing, one in New York and two each in California and New Jersey.

The estimated $321 million jackpot would rank 8th on the list of the top ten Mega Millions jackpots:
