#megamillions Jackpot to $51 million; $5 million won in Oklahoma

A lucky ticket-holder in Oklahoma has won a whopping $5 million by matching the five white balls in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing with a ticket that included the optional Megaplier purchase. No ticket matched all six numbers, including the Mega Ball, so the jackpot grows to $51 million for Friday, March 20. The winning numbers drawn March 17 were 11, 27, 44, 45 and 58, plus the Mega Ball of 3.

The $5 million winning ticket is Oklahoma's largest-ever Mega Millions prize. It is the game's third $5 million winner this year, following January wins in Arizona and Florida. The standard $1 million Match 5 prize is multiplied by the Megaplier if the ticket included that option for an additional $1. With a 5x Megaplier drawn on March 17, the prize became $5 million. The Megaplier option is available in most states.
