#megamillions Mega Millions jackpot keeps rising

An estimated $173 million ($106 million cash) will be up for grabs on Tuesday, May 19, after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn in the May 15 drawing – the white balls 11, 17, 21, 36 and 74, plus the gold Mega Ball 15.

There were, however, two Match 5 winners of $1 million each. For the second straight drawing, winning second prize tickets were sold in both New York and Texas.

                            

The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on March 24 by a group of co-workers in New York. Two other jackpots have been won this year – $126 million on February 27 (also in New York) and $265 million won in Illinois on January 16.
