#megamillions $232 million jackpot set for Mega Millions

The momentum is building! The Mega Millions jackpot will be an estimated $232 million ($143 million cash) for the next drawing on Tuesday, July 18, after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Friday night. The winning numbers for July 14 are the white balls 11, 12, 24, 32 and 73, plus the Mega Ball 1.

There was one ticket, sold in New York, that matched the five white balls to win $1 million. A total of 58 Match 5 winning tickets have been sold this year in 21 different jurisdictions; most were worth $1 million. They include California (7), Florida (3), Georgia (3), Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts (2), Michigan (2), Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey (9), New York (7), Ohio (5), Texas (6),Virginia (3), Washington and Wisconsin.

The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on April 28, when David Trapp won a $61 million prize in California. Two other jackpots have also been awarded this year – $191 million to Jack Freney, also in California, and $177 million to Texan Eliberto Cantu with a ticket he purchased in Arkansas.

While the jackpot has remained elusive since April 28, there have been more than 27.8 million prizes won at all levels since that time, including 33 prizes of $1 million or more. Since January 1, more than 70.2 million winning tickets have been sold; 61 of those have been worth $1 million or more.
