#megamillions Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow

The third-largest Mega Millions prize in almost two years will be up for grabs on February 25, as the estimated jackpot is now $195 million ($107 million cash option) after no ticket had all six winning numbers in Friday night's drawing.Two Match 5 winning tickets correctly had the first five numbers (23, 29, 32, 45 and 46), but missed the Mega Ball of 15. Worth $1 million each, they were sold in Pennsylvania and Virginia. That brings the total number of Match 5 winners to 84 since the game was relaunched last October.The record Mega Millions jackpot is $656 million, set on March 30, 2012. Since then, the only jackpots higher than next Tuesday's $195 million pot were the $648 million prize on Dec. 17, 2013, and $198 million on May 17, 2013.
